A Parish Trustee is an active, responsible parish member who is called to serve the parish as advisor, overseer, and counselor. The Treasurer Trustee works with the pastor in the coordination and maintenance of financial record keeping, reviews annual parish budget, and signs the annual financial report to the diocese. The Treasurer Trustee holds an important role in the parish community as a member of the finance council and also has check-signing responsibilities. A Secretary Trustee works closely with the pastor in overseeing the operations of the parish in various capacities. The secretary trustee holds the responsibility of relaying vital information to the parish community. The pastoral council sets the direction of parish life through listening and responding to the Spirit of God, organizing lay participation and cooperation, facilitating shared practical wisdom, and doing parish planning. The pastor, with the assistance of the parish pastoral council, determines the vision/mission of the parish.

The parish finance council directs itself to sound policies of management of parish funds and properties. The parish finance council organizes the temporal goods of the parish for the implementation of the parish program to accomplish the parish mission. It is responsible for soliciting funds, managing the parish budget and facilities, thus enabling the parish to carry out its mission.
