Confirmation is an important part of the Catholic Faith journey. It deepens our baptismal life that calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. Classes begin in September and culminate in the spring with reception of the Sacrament. To register for classes visit our youth education page.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is designed to teach the faith to those who have never been baptized or grew up in another faith.
The program is open to anyone who wishes to complete their sacraments of initiation or would like an overview of the Catholic Faith. Joining RCIA does not commit you to joining the Catholic Church. It is a process to help you explore what the Catholic Church has to offer. If you choose to complete the entire RCIA process, you will become a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church. For more information please contact Deacon Scott Pearce at deacon@saint-bernadette.org
