Our Faith Formation Program cannot run without the help of many volunteers in many different areas.
The skills needed cover a wide-range of talents and time commitments. We have "something for everyone" when it comes to volunteer opportunities.
This position involves teaching in our religious education program anywhere from Grade 1 through Grade 11. Training's and all materials are provided for all our catechists!

Catechists for Grades 1-5 Teach Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Catechists for Grades 6-10 Teach Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Catechists for Grade 11-Confirmation Prep Teach from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on most Wednesdays throughout the Faith Formation year.
Substitute Catechists Volunteers are needed to fill in for catechists during times of necessary absence such as illness or schedule conflicts. Materials and lesson plans are provided. Availability on short-notice and quick-study are needed.
Volunteers are needed to further ensure the safety of our students. They serve as hallway monitors during Faith Formation on Wednesdays.
Help is needed from 4:15-6 p.m. and 6:15-8 p.m.; two volunteers during each session would be ideal. Tasks include monitoring hallways and restrooms during class time. On occasion there may be a small job to do such as stapling papers, cutting shapes, etc. Anyone who volunteers will be Virtus trained and submit paperwork for a background check.

Confirmation Retreat Team Leader
Weekend retreat looks into the sacrament. Group leaders meet with students throughout the weekend to discuss various presentations. Volunteers are also needed to help in the kitchen and on the service team.
Parent Advisory Committee
Meet with coordinator and other parents to discuss issues and concerns, suggest improvements to programming and get acquainted with other parents.
Needed during class times on Wednesday afternoons and evenings. Answer phone, check attendance and help with requests from catechists. Several volunteers work on a rotating schedule once or twice a month. Need to arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of classes.
